As much as I love to shop locally, I have to admit, the convenience of shopping online can’t be beat. Who doesn’t love shopping in their pajamas? Plus, it’s so easy to compare products across many retailers in a short period of time. So, I was uber excited to learn that Wayfair is a local company!
Last year I was looking for end tables for my living room, and I couldn’t find what I was looking for (and for a price I wanted to pay) at my usual furniture haunts. So, I took a chance and pulled up wayfair.com. I was surprised at the selection and the price points they offered and settled on the set of metal and glass nesting tables you see in the pic above. The tables shipped for free (everything over $49 ships for free on the site) and arrived well packaged. It was an easy assembly task (for the Ikea veterans that we are) and once put together, the tables were surprisingly sturdy. They’ve gotten a lot of use since they were put into service last year. I love the way they look and am pleased with their versatility.*
Wayfair is a big national – even international – brand these days, but they are headquartered in Boston. The company has the largest selection of furniture, décor, lighting and more all for home and operate under five distinct brands:
- Wayfair – their main site offering a wide variety of everything for the home at a range of price points
- Joss & Main – a site offering beautiful furniture at irresistable savings
- AllModern – a site offering orginal modern deisgn
- Birch Lane – their classic and timeless selection
- Dwell Studio – a site for fashion forward modern furnishings
They’ve decorated the HGTV Dream Home™ this year so check that out for inspiration!
