Welcome to Maison Mass!

Hey – so glad you stopped by!  I’m Kristen and like you, I love all things home.  When I’m not working at my full-time job or blogging, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three boys (can you guess which one doesn’t like posing for photos?) and two mini golden-doodles!

I’ve had the good fortune to work in the residential design industry as a marketer and strategist for nearly 20 years – most recently at an interior millwork company. And, I’ve been a homeowner even longer and have lived through a few DIY home improvement (deck, shed) and professional remodeling (powder room, kitchen, basement) projects. Prepping for these undertakings, I found there’s a lot of information out there, but some things you only learn when you are in the industry, and wanting to share that info was why I started the blog.
